GenDAI – Genomic applications for laboratory Diagnostics supported by Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionising diagnostic processes, leading to the advancement of personalised medicine.

About

With the support of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the GenDAI project will leverage metagenomic potential for advanced diagnostics, contributing to the development of personalised treatments. It aims to create an AI-supported medical diagnostics platform for microbiome profiling, generate new metagenomic datasets for patients with inflammatory bowel disease, and develop the GenDAI Diagnostics Workflow, focusing on implementing a fully automated data processing pipeline. Additionally, the project will establish a robust, cloud-based foundation for platform development, incorporating advanced data management and security infrastructure for long-term archiving (GenDAI Safe). It will also identify biomarkers, characterising microbiome profiles, and delivering user-friendly clinical reporting.
